Terms and Conditions for ISL Skip Hire Ltd Duty of Care Transfer Note
No responsibility accepted for any damage to drives occasioned by the use of the company’s containers or vehicles once they have been ordered off the public highway.
Any skips or containers. deposited on verge or highway must have relevant permits issued by the local council which is obtained by the customer: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the container is properly lighted throughout the hours of darkness.
Containers must not be resited once delivered.
The following is part of a list of what CANNOT BE PUT into a container without prior arrangement:- Fridges/Freezers, Tyres, Paint Cans, TV’s/Monitors, Asbestos, Clinical/Medical Waste, Florescents Tubes, Solvents, Liquids, Oil, Batteries, Plasterboard (max 10% of load), Hazardous/Toxic Material.A complete list is available upon request.
Customers should ensure the safe loading of materials into the container.
Level loads only permitted (level with the sides) – It is both illegal and unsafe for drivers to collect skips that are overloaded and unsafe.
Should we arrive to collect a skip and it is overloaded, if we have come out a second time and it is still overloaded, we reserve the right to charge a wasted journey fee.
No fires are allowed in skips or containers.
ISL Skip Hire Ltd reserves the right to collect after 3 days unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Under Duty of Care regulations it is the producers responsibility to notify ISL Skip Hire Ltd of the correct waste description placed in container.
Please note in busy periods it may take upto 14 working days to collect the skip.
We will always endeavour to collect your skip after 7-10 days, however in busy periods this may run over. Should your skip be full and you wish to have it collected please call us asap and we will look to get this collected as soon as possible.
Customer is responsible for insurance and safe storage of container.
Any theft, fire or damage of the Container will be charged at current market rates.
