What Size Skips Can I Hire?

Offering a range of different skip sizes ensures that you’ll get the right one for the amount of waste you have lying around. Choose from either a mini or midi skip, a builder skip or a 14-yard skip. Don’t waste time, find out if your waste will fit in one go with our easy analogy:

What Materials Can I Dispose Of?

As a responsible waste processor, ISL can handle most domestic items you would put in a skip, like:

However, due to government legislations and operating permits we have for processing waste, there are some items which cannot be accepted. What Are The Weight Limits On Your Skips?

There isn’t a specific amount on the weight capacity for our skips however, here are our approximate estimates:

Mini Skip = 20-30 black bin bags = approximately 2 Tonnes.
Midi Skip = 30-40 black bin bags = approximately 4 Tonnes.
Builders Skip = 50-60 black bin bags = approximately 6 Tonnes.
14-yard Skip = 100-120 black bin bags = approximately 14 Tonnes.

When Will My Skip Be Collected?

Where Can My Skip Be Stored?

When hiring with ISL, you can keep the skip on either a private driveway or the pavement/road outside your house. However, if you are storing it publicly there will be an additional charge for a permit. For more information regarding this, please do call us on 0121 706 0630.
